pcFirst.com was an Application Service Provider (ASP) of a portfolio of PC lifecycle management services called good2go. The company was the first ASP to offer a complete solution to migrate, update, upgrade, secure and maintain personal computers online, effectively reducing the cost and complexity of owning a PC.
The premier offering was a migration service based on a patent-pending technology called pc2pc, which moves an entire computing environment — including applications, files, email, preferences and settings — from one PC to another.
Responsibilities included market research, road map definition, business plan development, service development and deployment, recruiting and corporate management. Raised over $4 million in funding from VCs, corporate investors and prominent angels in Silicon Valley pcFirst.com was acquired by FusionOne.
STEAM COMMUNICATIONS
Founder
Steam Communications developed the first Web-based Personal Information Management (PIM) solution that enhanced the productivity of individuals and groups.
Responsibilities included product definition, development and marketing, personal and financial management, and business negotiations. Raised over $1 million in funding from prominent angels in Silicon Valley.
INTELLIWORLD /BERKELEY SYSTEMS
Group Director, Founder
Conceived, designed and managed the development of LaunchPad, an award- winning product that transforms Mac- and Windows-based personal computers into secure and individually customizable environments. Targeted to homes, schools and other environments where personal computers are shared among multiple users.
LaunchPad was acquired by Berkeley Systems. As part of the acquisition agreement, joined Berkeley Systems as the new group director.
EALITY, INC.

eAlity is a provider of Internet-hosted business applications for small to medium businesses.
Responsibilities included development and quality delivery of new business services, as well as management of product marketing, software engineering and QA departments.
Accomplishments included the development of a streamlined cross-functional development process, reorganization of the engineering and QA department, release of a new service, and definition of a short-term service road map.
APTITUDE, INC.

Apptitude was the leading provider of application-aware networking solutions that unlock application visibility for enterprise service level agreements (SLAs), billing and charge-back, quality of service (QoS), network security and bandwidth management companies.
Responsibilities included market research, competitive analysis and product definitions.
APPLE COMPUTER
Product Marketing Manager
Was responsible for product marketing activities associated with the development and launch of the Newton MessagePad 120 and its accessories, including product definition, packaging, pricing, positioning, launch, collateral, promotions, etc. In addition, had various marketing responsibilities for MP 100 and MP110.
Mass Storage & Service Diagnostic, Manager
Was responsible for strategy development and implementation of cross-functional coordination, budget planning and management, project monitoring, resources negotiation and allocation, as well as direct management of engineers and technicians.
Also managed all aspects of project and product development for the Mac and Windows platforms.
KLA INSTRUMENTS
Designed, developed and managed overall system integration strategy.
ROLM MIL-SPEC COMPUTERS
Designed, developed and implemented 8Kx64 micro-code for a mini-computer based on the Nova ISA.
